The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has unveiled its official short film ahead of the start of the Olympic Winter Games in Beijing on February 4.
Directed by Salomon Ligthelm, a self-taught filmmaker who has won awards for his work around the world, alongside Uncommon Creative Studio, Every rise, every fall, every win – we’re in it together shines a light on the power of solidarity that the Olympics provide and shines a light on the relationship between Olympians and their supporters around the world as they reflect the movements of the athletes, demonstrating the impact of this human connection and this others’ belief in the power of people.
It is part of the IOC’s ‘Stronger Together’ campaign, which highlights the IOC’s belief in solidarity and the power of sport and the Olympic Games to unite people and communities around the world, joining a film released previously and performed by three-time Olympic medalist Lindsey Vonn.
