Nigeria’s Super Falcons were outclassed by Olympic champions Canada as they lost 2-0 in a friendly played in Vancouver.
The two teams are due to meet twice in four days, and the first, played in the early hours of Saturday, saw Canada dominate the proceedings.
Second-half goals from Jessie Fleming and Vanessa Gilles sealed victory for the hosts after the Falcons held firm throughout the first half.
The two teams will meet on Tuesday, April 12 at 3:30 a.m. Nigerian time in Victoria.

Falcons keeper Chiamaka Nnadozie made some key first-half saves that kept the score 0-0 for a long time.
Falcons defender Ashleigh Plumptre of Leicester City was also in action and she kept the Falcons from going behind with a good clearance.
Rasheedat Ajibade made efforts in attack but Canadian goalkeeper Stephanie Labbe was good in her position to keep the goals away.
Substitute goalkeeper Tochukwu Oluehi also made brilliant saves to deny Canada a third goal in the game.
The friendlies are part of the Falcons’ preparations ahead of the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Morocco in July.
