China has launched a custom Fuxing high-speed train capable of traveling at a maximum speed of 350 km / h.
As part of its maiden voyage, the train took the high-speed railroad between Beijing and Zhangjiakou, the co-host city of the Beijing Winter Olympics.
The Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway will support passenger services for the 2022 Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, which will run from January 21 to March 16.
This train would be the first bullet train in the world to feature a 5G live streaming studio, which can stream content using 5G.
The eight-car electric high-speed train (EMU) will accommodate more than 560 people, with one of the cars including a media workspace.
The train will also include air purification devices, lockers for ski equipment and wheelchair accessible spaces, as well as support for the BeiDou satellite navigation system.
According to Xinhua, deputy director of CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicle Engineering Research Center Zhu Yan said, “More than 2,700 automatic inspection sensors in the train can collect real-time data and provide suggestions for ‘operation and maintenance after calculation.

“With older train models, all air conditioning filters had to be replaced regularly. With the filter pressure monitoring sensors, the section with the most severe dust blockage can be targeted for replacement.
Passenger services on the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed rail line began in December 2019 with the aim of supporting intercity traffic as well as trips between Olympic venues.
The route would be the first to achieve autonomous driving at a speed of 350 km / h.
By replacing human drivers, the autonomous driving system on the Zhangjiakou-Beijing route is expected to reduce energy consumption by up to 7%.
