WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre continues to show why many members of the wrestling fanbase look up to him, as the Scottish superstar kissed one of his supporters last Friday night.
As a former WWE champion and WrestleMania lead actor, Drew McIntyre is one of the biggest and most popular stars in the business. With such a huge following, McIntyre seems to have made it his mission to give back to those who support him the most.
Last night on SmackDown, after the show ended, McIntyre went to take a selfie and interact with one of his biggest fans, Giovanna, who is part of the Make a Wish Foundation.
Although McIntyre is renowned for his impressive athletic feats in the ring, moments like this show he truly is a superstar both in and out of the ring.
Drew McIntyre recently met with Special Olympics athletes
While in Nashville to promote this year’s SummerSlam, which is to be held at Nissan Stadium, McIntyre met many of Tennesse’s most inspiring athletes.
Since becoming a Special Olympics Ambassador last year, the former WWE Champion has worked closely with the organization. Meeting the athletes last week, Drew McIntyre spoke how inspiring all Special Olympics athletes are.
“I knew I would be inspired, but I hadn’t realized the level we would reach and how much I really want to do and how much I really want to be involved. I couldn’t have anticipated even up close Like when I heard today, technically I’m going to the SummerSlam media tour – we have a big show at Nissan Stadium on July 30. When I heard Special Olympics was involved today in person, I I got dizzy for a second and I was like ‘oh this is awesome’, I can go on and this is something that’s really a joy in my life right now.” H/T Twitter
McIntyre defeated Happy Corbin at WrestleMania 38. After this win, he said he wanted to face Roman Reigns at the WWE Stadium Show in Cardiff. 2022 could end up being a momentous year for the Scottish Warrior.
