International Hockey Federation announces data rights partnership with Sportradar until 2030

Lausanne [Switzerland], Dec. 20 (ANI): The International Hockey Federation (FIH) and Sportradar (NASDAQ: SRAD) on Monday announced a global partnership that makes it the exclusive data rights partner for the world hockey governing body until the end of the 2029/30 season.
As part of the agreement, Sportradar will collect and distribute data from all FIH competitions around the world over the next nine years. This includes approximately 300 games each season, including the FIH World Cups of Hockey, qualifying for the FIH World Cup of Hockey, the FIH World Cups of Indoor Hockey, the FIH Professional Hockey League and the World Cup. FIH Hockey5s, as well as the Olympic qualifications.
Sportradar will provide the FIH with a tailor-made competition management platform to manage its tournaments and data more efficiently. Intuitive and easy to use, the platform will be tailor-made to adapt to the rules and regulations of the FIH and will help manage competitions, match results, player statistics, standings and much more.

The competition management platform will also be made available to all FIH member associations, including continental and national associations. Through a dedicated and targeted effort to collect a deeper level of data, the FIH will be able to leverage the information to provide more information to engage hockey fans around the world.
